At autism+ we provide truly person centred support to people with autism. We specialise in providing 1-2-1 and small group support to enable individuals to live the life that they choose; to pursue their own interests, have fun and even to take risks in a supportive and safe environment.
We provide the support so you can:
· Live independently
· Access education, employment or training
· Enjoy all the social and leisure opportunities in the local area .
· Gain independence on public transport.
And perhaps most importantly to make friends and have fun.
1-2-1 support from autism+ is simple to access, and people with an autism diagnosis and funding such as Direct Payments or an Individual Budget are able to self-refer. We will also take referrals from Social Workers, Care Managers and other health and social care professionals.
It couldn’t be easier to access the service.
There are 4 simple stages:
1. Initial referral:
2. There will then be a referral meeting, at a time and venue to suit the individual. This is where we will begin to draw up a plan and design a person centred service.
3. Once the plan is complete we will Introduce you to a member of our team; if all goes well we will begin working toward the agreed plan.
4. There will be regular review meetings, at least quarterly, to ensure that everything is going well and to make any changes that are necessary.
